The rule

The pile is the game

Every customer pays 10 dirhams for each loaf on your board, then takes one. So stack it high. And then try turning.

  1. A tall pile pays more

A customer who sees ten loaves pays 100. One who sees three pays 30.

  2. Every turn makes it sway

The taller the pile, the harder it leans. Two quick turns the same way, and the top loaves are on the paving.

  3. A bump costs half

No lives. Hit a crate and half the pile is gone. Hit one with an empty board and the run is over.

On the street

Everything is in your way

The medina was not built for running.

Crates are low enough to jump. Donkeys are not: go around. Market carts leave you one lane, cats dart out of doorways, and a low arch lets six loaves under and keeps the rest. A thief picks from the top of the pile, and a glass of tea spills at half the lean, but a tea customer pays double.

Every run earns dirhams, won or lost. Spend them on steadier hands, a longer jump or better tips, or save 1500 for the hand cart: it holds 18 loaves and breaks through crates, but it is heavy to steer and cannot jump.
